Features

One Saturday, start to finish

Every tab in the app, in the order you'd reach for it — what you say or tap, and what comes back.

  1. 9:04am

    MapVoice

    Find brunch without scrolling

“Brunch for four near the Beltline, not too loud.”

Hold the mic and say it the way you'd text a friend. Pins drop on the map, numbered and ranked, and every one carries a Vibe Score out of 100 — food, service, ambiance and value — so the number means something before you tap. Ask for a feel — quiet, lively, a date night — and the places reviewers describe that way come first. Before you ask, the map already shows the day: Georgia 511's traffic incidents, the parts of town that are busy, fire pins on what's trending, and Atlanta's weather in the corner — tap it for the weather map, hour by hour for two days, with the rain falling where it's raining. A broom clears the pins when you're done.

  2. 9:05am

    MapDay plans

    Ask for the whole day

“A day in Cabbagetown — something to see, lunch, then drinks. We're on MARTA.”

Ask for a day and the stops come back in order: a sight, lunch, something to do, a drink. It starts from where you are. Each stop is open when you'll get there and close to the one before it, and if you're riding MARTA, every stop is near a station. The answer says why each one made it: the price with tax, the hours, what reviewers say.

  3. 9:06am

    Place page

    Know before you go

    Tap pin 2.

Every place opens as a swipe of cards. Today's hours and the address sit on top, its Vibe Score a tap away; swipe up and the menu comes first, one section at a time with its prices. Then the answers you'd otherwise call for — where to park, the dress code, whether there's a cover at the door, what it's best for — then reviews, and Apple's street-level look at the block so you walk to the right door. Each kind of food, from Ethiopian to BBQ to coffee, has a look of its own.

  4. 9:07am

    AssistantFour guides

Ask about what's on the screen

    “Which of these is cheapest?”

The assistant reads the menus it just pinned, with Georgia's sales tax already on the prices, and answers out loud in your guide's voice — Anika, Zara, Viktor or Rio. Name a dish and it looks around your pins for the cheapest place that serves it. The voice is made on your phone; nothing is streamed in to read it to you.

  5. 9:08am

    PlansRoute

    Put it on the day

“Add 2 to Saturday at 11.”

It joins your Saturday plan with a time and a reminder. Ask it to move or change something already there and it checks first, on a card above the mic — say yes. Tap the route button and the day draws itself on the map — the road between every stop, the drive for each leg — ready to hand to Maps.

  6. 12:30pm

    Events

    See what's on this weekend

    Events → Weekend.

Festivals, shows, markets and games, in the order they start. Open one for the address, the time, the price, the crowd it draws and what it's about, pin it to your sticky board, or drop it on the map to see how far it is.

  7. 2:15pm

    $$$The Deal Paper

    Spend less on purpose

    Open $$$, tap a tile.

Deals in metro Atlanta you'd otherwise dig out of store pages, listings and forums, found by two researchers working apart and checked against each other: clearances, closing sales, estate and sample sales, food, free things to do, perks, and what to hold off buying. Each tile leads with its one number and how soon it ends. Tap one and swipe up through the deals as cards: the score out of 100, the verdict, why it's rare, with the insider tip, the price check and every source underneath. Pin one to your Sticky board.

  8. 4:40pm

    NewsAudio

    Catch up on the drive

    Play ATL Vibe Radio.

Atlanta news from our own newsroom, on a board of six sections: Civic, Finance, Technology, Food, City Life and Sports. Tap a section and its stories play as short reels, narrated if you want them; a story with no photo plays over its section's own hand-inked art. Then there's a podcast about the city that keeps playing from the Lock Screen once the phone is in your pocket.

  9. 6:10pm

    My DayNotes+

Think out loud, keep the words

    Hold the mic on Notes+.

Talk, and the recording lands in your note with every word written out and timed — play it back and the words light up as they're said. Cells hold the rest: tap one to pick it, tap again to write, hold it to move it. Snap a photo into a note, or share in a PDF, a web page or photos from Safari, Chrome or Photos — the words on a receipt or a scanned page are read right on the phone, ready to copy or hear aloud. Ask AI to sum the note up, photos and all, have your guide read it back, or save it to a task that stays in sync. The recordings themselves never leave your phone.

  10. 6:30pm

    My DaySticky

    Pin what you can't forget

    Tap + on the board.

A cork board of paper notes in five colours. Give one a reminder and it speaks up at the time; hold it to mark it done. A task you let slide lands on the board stamped PAST DUE, with Done, Remind and Delete right on it — and a cell from Notes+ can be pinned here too, its words kept in step.

  11. 7:00pm

    My DayWatch

Time the things that take time

    Start a Pomodoro.

A stopwatch, work-and-rest intervals, a dial that drains, or focus blocks with breaks between — counting down on the Lock Screen and ringing at the end. Pin a sticky to a timer and the note moves itself to Done when the time's up. On Arrival rings when you get to a place you picked — no time to set.

  12. 9:30pm

    My DayCommands

    Run it with a line

    add task call mom

The command line takes plain keywords — task, reminder, timer, sticky, note, new plan — and runs them on the spot, typed or said. Phrasing it your own way? One tap hands the line to the assistant to read, and nothing runs until you say yes.
